Cancellation Policy

The Pear Tree Inn Guesthouse

Applicable to all Room Bookings at The Pear Tree Inn

This Cancellation Policy describes how we manage booking cancellations at the The Pear
Tree Inn, henceforth to be known as the guesthouse (“we” or “our”).

1. Free Cancellation:
   We offer a free cancellation policy for all bookings made at the guesthouse. Guests can
   cancel their reservation without any penalty if done within 72 hours prior to the scheduled
   check-in time.
2. Non-Refundable Bookings:
   For certain discounted rates or special promotions, we may offer non-refundable bookings.
   In such cases, cancellations or modifications will not be eligible for a refund. This will be
   communicated to you at the point of booking.
3. Group Booking Cancellations:
   For group reservations of three or more rooms, different cancellation terms apply. These
   terms will be communicated to you at the time of booking.
   • 3.1 You may cancel without any penalty up to 14 days prior to the scheduled
     check in time.
     3.2 If the reservation is cancelled between 4 and 14 days prior to the scheduled
     check in time, the deposit taken at the time of booking will be retained by the
     hotel.
     3.3 If reservation is cancelled with 3 days or less notice prior to the scheduled
     check in time, the full reservation value will be charged.

4. No-Shows:
   In the event of a no-show (failure to check-in on the scheduled arrival date without prior
   notice of cancellation), the full amount of the reservation will be charged to the payment
   method used to authenticate the booking, and the room will be released for other
   bookings.
5. Early Departures:
   If you decide to check-out earlier than the scheduled departure date, we reserve the right
   to charge the full booking fee, as communicated to you at the time of booking. We will
   not discount/remove from your bill any unused night’s stay.
6. Force Majeure:
   In exceptional circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government
   actions, or other unforeseen events, we may waive the cancellation policy and provide
   full refunds or alternative arrangements. We will make reasonable efforts to notify guests
   in such situations.
